- Stands for Covert Subversive Command Center, referred to as COS or Command or Center by its operatives. The basis of COS is fashioned after the SOG (Studies and Observations Group) from the 60s. SOG was the most secret elite US military unit to serve in the Vietnam War, composed entirely of volunteers from ace fighting special forces such as the Army Green Berets and Airborne Rangers, Air Force Air Commandos, Navy SEALs, etc.
